Final Sunday Celebration

Final Sunday Celebration

FINAL SERVICE

We have loved being able to serve the city of Sacramento for the past 107 years. Our community impact has grown since arriving at this location on Highway 50 in 1984. We are grateful that this legacy is eternal and that a Gospel witness will continue with the transition we are engaged in.  We are praying for an outpouring of God’s Spirit as we gather for our final service as “Capital Christian Center” on September 3, 2023, at 10:30am

Please join us to celebrate the rich history and impact that Capital has had in your life. We have become family and supported each other on our spiritual journey pursuing the desire to live like Jesus among the broken, through word and deed, telling people about Jesus and teaching them to follow Him!

Our impact will continue as Capital Christian Center expands our reach in the city through Capital Outreach at the warehouse location led by Pastor Rick Cole. You can stay connected by joining our email list, volunteering, donating, and participating in this new adventure!

Children’s services are available during this service. Check in opens at 10am in the Activity Center Lobby. Middle School students will also be able to attend a final service together in A24. If you are unsure of these locations, a host in the Lobby can direct you to the correct spot!

Capital + Destiny Transition Q&A

Capital + Destiny Transition Q&A

FAQ

We have been asked so many questions about the transitions that are taking place. We hope some of these Frequently Asked Questions can get answered for you below. We are going forward as an outreach ministry to touch this community in broader ways, and more powerful ways then we’ve ever dreamed of or imagined before. We believe Jesus cares about every soul no matter where people come from – no matter their background, or ethnicity, or economic ability. Jesus is calling us to the needs of this world. We are stepping into that with greater passion than we’ve ever had, ever, in this life and you have the opportunity to walk with us in it.

Don’t miss our final two Sundays as Capital Christian Center on August 27 and September 3, 2023 at 10:30am.

When does Destiny begin the lease of Capital Christian Center?

The first event of Destiny at Capital is scheduled for September 10, 2023, at 6pm in the Capital Christian Center Auditorium. You are invited to attend.

Will there be a Sunday morning service on September 10, 2023, at 10:30am?

No. There will not be a Sunday morning service on September 10 at 10:30am. Destiny is hosting one service on that date at 6pm at Capital.

Yes. Pastor Rick is open to serving locally and across the nation. You can book him to speak here.

What is the best way to support Capital Christian Center during this transition?

Capital Christian Center will continue to impact Sacramento. You are able to give monthly, weekly, or anytime in support of outreach to our city. When you give, you will receive reports about how your giving is making a difference. We would love for you to be part of the mission going forward: To live as Jesus among the broken. Through word and deed, telling people about Jesus and teaching them to follow him.

We probably haven’t been able to answer all of your questions, but we hope we cleared up some confusion. There are so many details that will unfold in the days ahead. You can always reach out on our contact page and we will do our best to answer you going forward as Capital Christian Center.
