FINAL SERVICE
We have loved being able to serve the city of Sacramento for the past 107 years. Our community impact has grown since arriving at this location on Highway 50 in 1984. We are grateful that this legacy is eternal and that a Gospel witness will continue with the transition we are engaged in. We are praying for an outpouring of God’s Spirit as we gather for our final service as “Capital Christian Center” on September 3, 2023, at 10:30am.
Please join us to celebrate the rich history and impact that Capital has had in your life. We have become family and supported each other on our spiritual journey pursuing the desire to live like Jesus among the broken, through word and deed, telling people about Jesus and teaching them to follow Him!
Our impact will continue as Capital Christian Center expands our reach in the city through Capital Outreach at the warehouse location led by Pastor Rick Cole. You can stay connected by joining our email list, volunteering, donating, and participating in this new adventure!
Children’s services are available during this service. Check in opens at 10am in the Activity Center Lobby. Middle School students will also be able to attend a final service together in A24. If you are unsure of these locations, a host in the Lobby can direct you to the correct spot!
I’m so sad that this is the final service on Sunday, need to find another church now. I wish our Pastor Rick Cole the very best in life, living out the the will of Our Jesus Christ.
I’ve attached several churches in 25 years I’ve lived in Sacramento. Each time, I ended back at Capital because of the approachable bible based teachings. I was a doctor at the VA during the worst of COVID pandemic. Capital Christian Center’s sign gave me encouragement. Now that I work in Rancho Cordova, the sign still gives me a pick me up. I feel sad about finding another faith community but encouraged about Capital’s mission may continue in outreach.
Dear Rick and Samuel. Thank you for all you’ve done for God’s Kingdom here in our region. You have equipped, blessed, transformed, encouraged, prayed, educated and pressed on with grace all these years. My prayers are with you as you journey forward in the next season God has planned. With much love to you and all at Capital Christian Center.
I wish I could be there for the service tomorrow. I’m sad to see the church going but thankful that I am who I am because of Capital. I met Jesus there, worked at the school for 11 years, and have countless positive memories. I will keep everyone in my prayer!
Can you please tell me where I am supposed to go on 9/10 for church?
You can choose where to attend service. There will be a “Destiny at Capital” service on 9/10 at 6pm only in the Auditorium.
