FOOD INSECURITY
Building access to resources for those who are in need and feeding the hungry.
Over 287,500 Sacramento County residents suffer from food insecurity—the inability to access affordable, nutritious food.
Providing Food
At our warehouse location we serve individuals and families Monday-Thursday with groceries and supplies. Our Compassion team of volunteers and our CARE program help pack food bags for the housed and unhoused each week. We average about 150 walk-ins each month.
Current Services
- Food Assistance is available Monday-Thursday from 9am-12pm
- We offer bags for those who are housed/sheltered once per month. Unhoused guests are able to receive food once per week.
- Diapers are available once per month for those in need.
- We do not require an ID to receive food at this time, we just request this online form be completed.
