FOOD INSECURITY

Building access to resources for those who are in need and feeding the hungry.

Over 287,500 Sacramento County residents suffer from food insecurity—the inability to access affordable, nutritious food.

Providing Food

At our warehouse location we serve individuals and families Monday-Thursday with groceries and supplies. Our Compassion team of volunteers and our CARE program help pack food bags for the housed and unhoused each week. We average about 150 walk-ins each month.

Current Services

  • Food Assistance is available Monday-Thursday from 9am-3pm
  • We host monthly grocery giveaways with our partner organizations
  • We offer bags for the unhoused and those who are housed once per month
  • We do not require an ID to receive food at this time, we just request this online form be completed.

VOLUNTEER

Sign up to volunteer at our next monthly grocery giveaway. Our outreach program includes distributing food with a local partner. Volunteer by signing up here!
