We will be hosting a “Capital Celebration” on Wednesday, August 30, at 6:30pm in the Activity Center/North Courtyard for those who call Capital home. It will be a time to gather and celebrate all that God has done over the last 107 years. You are invited! This will include a free BBQ dinner and an opportunity to chat with our Capital Family as we conclude this season of ministry together on this campus. RSVP is required.
Jackie Hill Perry is a Bible teacher, writer, and artist. She is the author of Jude: Contending for the Faith in Today’s Culture, Gay Girl, Good God: The Story of Who I Was, and Who God Has Always Been, and Holier Than Thou: How God’s Holiness Helps Us Trust Him. At home she is known as wife to Preston and mommy to Eden, Autumn, Sage, and August.

Summer at Capital is here! We don’t want you and your family to miss out on all that’s taking place on Wednesdays for Family Nights. Capital Men are in their study Wild at Heart and Pastor Catina is teaching a study in the Chapel for the women. We want to encourage you to grow with us in your spiritual pursuit.
Capital Kids will feature Summer Nights with a VIP experience for those who bring a first-time guest. Surprises are in store with ice cream, popsicles and summer treats. Capital Youth will have an experience for our 6-12th graders as well. Everything starts at 7pm on Wednesdays – doors open at 6:30pm for check in.
Baby Dedication is a special moment where parents can choose to commit to raise their child(ren) to know Jesus Christ. If you would like to make this commitment, we offer opportunities periodically throughout the year. The upcoming dates are listed on the registration link below.

STEP #3: Attend the next regularly scheduled Baby Dedication
Mandatory Zoom Parent Orientation Class: This parent orientation class is scheduled at 9:30am on the SUNDAY PRIOR TO the dedication date you selected when registering. The class will provide an overview on what Child Dedication is all about and what it will look like the following Sunday. We look forward to getting to know you more!

Here’s what you can expect:
The summer weather makes it a perfect opportunity to throw a baptism party outside! Pre-registration is available if you want to make this public display of your decision to follow Jesus. We also provide a spontaneous opportunity for those in the service to respond and get baptized on the spot. We provide shirts, shorts, towels – everything you would need to celebrate new life! Pastor Rick’s message will focus on the importance of baptism and give instructions for the day. Hang out on the front lawn after each service to celebrate those in our church getting baptized- We’ve got Food Trucks and inflatables. Sign up for more info at capitalonline.cc/baptism.
The time is officially here to celebrate the growth of our children this year! On Sunday morning, August 6, all kids and students promote to their new age groups at 10:30am. Capital Kids check is is available in the Activity Center Lobby. Any host can help direct you to a new room if you have any questions.
