Fast & Pray | July 22-28, 2019

As Capital Christian looks toward the future, we want to spend time in prayer to turn our hearts toward the will of the Lord Jesus Christ. On July 22-26 we will meet in the Chapel at 6:13pm for corporate prayer. We are encouraging you to consider fasting a meal or giving up something that feels sacrificial to join with us throughout the week. We will conclude with communion and a Worship Night on July 27 at 6:13pm in the Sanctuary.

Every Day Prayer Focus

As we enter our time of prayer and fasting for the future of Capital Christian, we want to center on these things:

  • Humble ourselves. Asking for forgiveness for our sins and the sins of our land.
  • Seeking God. Declaring our dependence on God in every area of our lives.
  • His Kingdom Come. Praying for the completion of the Great Commission and for revival in our generation.
  • Hear from Heaven. Inviting the Presence of God in our church and our lives (souls saved, signs, wonders, miracles, and transformed lives.)
  • Next Steps. Praying for all people in their journey of faith to Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference
  • Believing God for answered prayer to our specific needs (Outreach Sunday, Connect Group connections, and prayer requests).

Daily Focuses

Each day this week, we will be praying specifically for these things:
