In the beautiful kingdom that God invites us into, cultural norms are broken to defeat shame and death. This passage has two important stories sandwiched together. It begins with the story of a synagogue leader (v. 22) pleading with Jesus to come and heal his dying daughter (v. 23), a story that is interrupted by the story of a woman who “had been subject to bleeding for twelve years” (v. 25). These two stories reveal an incredible aspect of the coming kingdom of God: victory over shame and victory over death.
· We are called to advocate for the vulnerable among us. · Jesus’ brand of compassion is equal for all classes or cultures. · The touch of Jesus transforms and purifies unclean things.
Seeds grow quietly but persistently. The parable of the growing seed and the parable of the mustard seed portray the amazing growth of God’s kingdom, which will reach across every conceivable barrier before its growth is complete.

So much of the process happens while you aren’t watching or working on it. In the same way, the kingdom of God is incomprehensible to us: we do the work we’ve been given to do, but we don’t see it taking shape or coming into being. God is working behind the scenes.

Where we expect big, booming, and impressive, God gives us humble and vulnerable. What are the little things we should pay attention to?
God has blessed us with an amazing campus and amazing people like you to carry out His mission to prepare our children to be world changers. We gathered on Thursday, March 14 in the church Sanctuary to communicate vision for the future of our school. I provided information regarding where we are currently, as well as what we are striving for in the coming year and beyond.
Capital Christian School is a family and you are an important part of our family. There are moments in the journey of life where family meetings are necessary to make sure we are all on the same page and clearly working together toward the same goals. This is one of those moments.
Your children are who CCS exists to serve. Their development and future form our priorities. Being a parent and now a grandparent, I am keenly aware of the love and passion you have for your children. Our partnership with you is deeply spiritual and sincerely embraced.

Through the month of March and April we will be going through the book of Mark. We are looking at the life of Jesus and it will take us right into Easter weekend.
Who is Jesus? Why did he suffer and die for us? How does becoming a servant make Jesus king? Will you believe? The Gospel of Mark is a carefully crafted story that gives an account of Jesus’ life and addresses the question of whether or not He is the promised king.
