When the COVID-19 crisis hit, Senior Pastor Rick Cole realized the need would be great for people who would be losing their income and maybe their job.  That is when he set about to do something about it.  “We need to mobilize our church to help meet the needs of our neighborhood and community,” Pastor Cole communicated to his team.  That is when the idea of a grocery drive became a reality.

Church volunteers will be putting together bags of groceries to be handed out, free of charge, until they are all gone.

Thanksgiving | Share a Moment of Gratitude!

SHARE A MOMENT OF GRATITUDE

We are hosting our annual Thanksgiving service online on Wednesday, November 25 at 7pm. One of the highlights we always love at that service is giving people a chance to pass the mic and share something God has done in their lives over the past year.

This year, we will celebrate what God has done in our congregation via video, and we invite you to be a part of it! Take a moment to film a video sharing what God has done in your life and upload it to the form below! We will do a special Thanksgiving compilation of

Every Friday evening we celebrate lives being transformed and freed from life-controlling hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Hope and inspiration fill lives through testimonies, teachings and small groups. Real change takes place in step groups by working through the 12-steps in which the healing power of Jesus is prioritized.

Join us every Friday at 6pm for a reasonably priced dinner, 7pm for our large-group meeting, 8pm for our small, open-share groups, and 9pm for the Solid Rock Café. Childcare is currently unavailable for children 12 and under.

While we are practicing social distancing, we are limited to 100 attendees per week. Preregistration is required for all attendees. Reserve your spot now via the link below.

Blood Drive | November 2

Blood Drive | November 2

On Monday, November 2, we are hosting a Blood Drive in the Activity Center from 1:30-6pm. In July, our blood drive came in over projection and collected 44 lifesaving pints, registered 51 donors, and had 7 first time donors! One pint can save up to three lives so as many as 132 patients’ lives will be transformed because of the precious gift of blood from our donors. We would love to break that record by having more participate in November. Give blood and learn your antibody results. To comply with social distancing, appointments are required. Visit Donors.Vitalant.org and enter blood drive code SMFR007, or click the link below to reserve your spot today!
