During the winter months, WINTER SANCTUARY allows us to house and feed homeless individuals in the Sacramento area. Each winter, the cold and wet weather conditions in Sacramento threaten the lives of hundreds of homeless men, women, and children. Like last winter, we will be opening our doors to house, feed, and entertain 100 people in need each night. Our goal is to make our guests feel at home and have a ton of fun! Pastor Rick’s heart is for the homeless of Sacramento and he is committed to making an impact in our community.
DONATION ITEMS NEEDED
We are looking to collect 100 pieces of each item listed below. Please bring all items to the Church Office throughout the week, or place them in the donation bin in the Lobby on Sunday morning.
- Backpacks
- Socks
- Gloves
- Scarves
- Winter Hat/Beanie
- Rain Coat (various sizes)
- Underwear (various sizes)
- New or Gently Used Coats (various sizes)
- Large Zip Lock Bags
- Sleeping Bags
- Toiletry Packets: Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, Shaving Cream, Razor, Toothpaste, Tooth Brush
- Gently Used Board Games

My three hotels, Courtyard & Residence Inn Folsom and Hampton Inn Rancho Cordova will donate toiletries. Keep up the good work.
