Read: Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23 NIV, 1 Peter 1:23 NIV
- In what ways are you investing your life in God’s kingdom?
- Allow God to adjust your dreams to match His plans.
- Let Him cause uncommon results from your common deeds.
Man’s heart is like soil, capable of improvement, of bearing good fruit; it does not need to lie fallow, or be like the field of those who don’t care.
After a season of opportunity usually a storm of persecution follows. It is a test of our hearts. When trying times come, those who have no root are soon offended; they first quarrel and then quit it; first find fault with it, and then throw it off. Trials which shake some, makes others strong.
A journal that you can use every day to stay consistent in heart preparation. We are providing a reading plan that we can share together. Each day, follow this process for devotion.
It is based on the word SOAP as an easy way to remember.
– SCRIPTURE – Read the Scripture for the day
– OBSERVATION – What did you observe about the Scripture that struck you?
– APPLICATION – How can you apply your observation so that it applies to your life today?
– PRAYER – Write out a prayer to God based on what you just learned and ask him to help you apply this truth in your life.
