Read: Revelation 21:5, Romans 9:25, Ephesians 2:10,
We are
not defined by our brokenness. We are defined by God’s love.

has a plan until your punches in the mouth” –Mike Tyson
- Jim Henson created Kermit the Frog from his moms gross green coat
- Your setbacks can be turned into superpowers.
- God takes nobodys and makes them somebodys! He calls us BELOVED.
- Stop living on your belly crawling back to first base just to be safe – don’t listen to the enemy telling you to crawl. God says – “Keep running! You’ve hit a home run!”
- Our imperfect stories gives us a power, light, and confidence to speak life to hurting people.
- “Me too” – most powerful words to say to someone hurting!

not done yet. I made it this far, who says I can’t go further? Who says I
can’t? Nobody!” —Rob

What
is Revival?
Revival – is the
contagious string of events, where dead things come back to life, one after
another.

2. Affects those
around you v.7

sidelines get involved v. 16

v. 23 …the battle

Read: Matthew 12:34, James 3:8
Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines communication as:“a process by which information is exchanged between individuals through a common system of symbols, signs, or behavior.”
Why is communication so important to relationships?· All relationships are fueled by communication.
Communication is not easy.· We live in a nation where 50 percent of wives say husbands don’t communicate.· 86 percent of those divorced say the cause was deficient communication.· 25 percent of young people indicate they have never had one meaningful conversation with their father. WE NEED HELP!
Our words have the power to take our relationships to a new level of impact and intimacy.
1. The foundation of communication is trust“Kind words are good medicine”(Proverbs 15:4 CEV)
2. Communication is always from the heart“Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Matthew 12:34 ESV)
3. Communication that makes an impact is honesty
Self-evaluation:· How many times last week did you give the “fine” answer?· How many times did it just seem easier to not be honest?· How many times did staying silent leave a relationship where it was when a moment of honesty could have deepened the relationship?
If we want our relationships to grow, honesty is nonnegotiable. When we are honest, we will always be “speaking the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:15). Look at the word truth in that verse, and look also at love. It takes both-truth wrapped in love.Truth without love doesn’t work. Love without truth is equally disastrous.
Thinking about My Relationships
Points to Ponder: It takes courage to communicate.Verse to Remember:“Death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21 NASB).
Questions to Consider: Is there someone who needs to hear you say….“I want to begin rebuilding trust”?“I recognize that my words reveal my heart?“I forgive you”?

1 – LOVE IS NOT SIMPLE EMOTION, IT IS COMMITTED ACTION
Jesus does not command us to feel love. He commands us to act with love. He is not saying, “Feel this way.” He is saying, “Act this way.”

LOVING EVERYONE – LOVING SOMEONE
Everyone means there is no one outside the limits of my love; someone means I can only practice love toward people I am with right now.
LOVE IS MORE THAN AN ATTITUDE. IT MUST BE TRANSLATED INTO PRACTICAL ACTIONS.
1. Love unconditionally
2. Pursue others with respect
3. Share Interests
4. Be forgiving
5. Chose joy
