Prayer Emphasis: Transitions

We gather the First Wednesday of every month for a special prayer and worship focus. Gather on Wednesday, June 7, thanking God for His faithfulness and asking for wisdom and guidance for the transition ahead at 7pm in the Auditorium. We can go into prayer with an open heart, the faith for miracles to happen, and trust that our God will do the work. If you’re seeking breakthrough and healing, this night is for you!  Kids & Youth activities are available and check in begins at 6:30pm. The Capital Cafe will be open at 6pm.

Easter at Capital | April 9

Easter at Capital | April 9

EASTER at CAPITAL

Join us for Easter at Capital on Sunday, April 9, at 10:30am. Jesus is the hope of the world. Often we disqualify ourselves from God’s love because of our history, our failures and our shortcomings. The Bible says that nothing in all of creation can separate us from the Love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. And to accept God’s love is to trust His patient, forgiving and gracious stance towards us.

Good Friday | April 7 | 12:15pm

Come join us for a special service, with communion, on Good Friday, April 7, at 12:15pm in the Auditorium as we reflect on the price Jesus paid for our sins.

Sunday | April 9 | 10:30am

Experience Easter at Capital like never before. This musical presentation will spotlight Pastor Rick’s compelling Easter message, Capital Worship, and stories of lives changed by Jesus.

Sisters Night | Aug 5

Friday, August 5th | 7pm | Chapel

Join Capital’s Sisterhood Friday Night as We Have a Conversation About the Sisterhood of Womanhood – During this session we will learn that the forces that unite us are stronger than the forces that divide us.
Women that communicated positively and had meaningful conversations in the Bible were stronger, wiser, and more effective than women who did not have them.
Join us for Girl Talk on Friday, August 5th at 7pm in the Chapel.
Childcare is provided.

Relationship Habits (Wednesdays at 7pm)

Wednesday Series | June 1 – July 27 | 7pm

Our summer focus is to pursue growth in our family life.  The principles that strengthen family relationships also work to strengthen relationships with friends and work associates.  When relationship habits are applied in our work environment, we can set an atmosphere of truly productive impact. Regardless of your family make-up, the relationship habits we will learn have the potential to help you in every aspect of life.

We will introduce habits to build a healthier, happier, and more rewarding relationship with others. Most of these relationship habits can be captured quickly and then developed over time.  Even in the early days of pursuit, these habits will improve your connection and closeness right away.  When you create a small, positive change in your behavior, you will see immediate results with your relationships. A little attention, love, kindness, respect, tenderness, compassion, and thoughtfulness go a long way.

Join us every Wednesday in June and July, excluding July 6, in the Auditorium for worship and the Relationship Habits workshop. Capital Men and Women are invited to participate in this way as well.

Jesus in the Secular World | Workshop May 21

Jesus in the Secular World | Workshop May 21

Free Workshop | May 21 | 9am-1pm

How can we reach our kids and grandkids who have walked away from the church?

There is an ever-widening cultural divide between the secular youth culture and the Church. Much of what was formerly regarded as the Christian world is leaving its roots behind and is dominated by secularism and relativism. The bible is no longer considered the moral compass, but rather everyone is free to decide for themselves what is right and wrong. The “Jesus in the Secular World” workshop will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the secular mindset, inspire personal revival, and equip you with practical next steps to relevantly engage the secular world with the powerful Gospel message.

Join us for a workshop led by Aaron Pierce, International Director of Steiger, on Saturday, May 21, from 9am-1pm at Capital. You can RSVP for this FREE by clicking the ticket link.
