This year we would love to provide a way to support local families in our community who could use a little extra help this Christmas providing meaningful gifts for their children. If you would like to sponsor a family (either as an individual or as a Connect Group) please click the link below.

Sunday, December 18

VIP DINNER

All Giving Tree recipients will be invited to attend VIP Night on Sunday, December 18. At the VIP Night, families will receive a special dinner and receive their gift cards before attending the Christmas Concert. 

Table hosts will provide guest care during dinner and before the Christmas Concert:

  • Host guests at their table during dinner
  • Help guests in wheelchairs 
  • Direct guests to restrooms 
  • Answer questions
  • Escort guests to their seats for the Christmas concert
  • Take guests to photos with Santa

You can choose to either Adopt a Family, Host a Table, or both! Please let us know below how you would love to make a difference this Christmas season.

Capital Kids Carnival

KIDS ONLY! Send your kids in their favorite costume at 10:30am on Sunday, October 30, to the Capital Kids Carnival. This applies to ages newborn-5th grade. For three year olds-5th grade, we will have inflatables, carnival games, candy, and so much more! It’s going to be the perfect Sunday to invite your kids’ friends, neighbors, teammates, schoolmates, and whoever else you can think of!

All first-time guests must register in the Activity Center to receive a security ticket. First-time guests can pre-register  by Wednesday, October 26 by 11:59pm to save time at check-in. Otherwise, just show up and we will have you fill out a guest card to get started!

Smash Bash | Middle & High Students

We are hosting our third annual SMASH BASH for students in grades 6-12. This event includes free dinner, inflatables, smashing a car, smashing pumpkins, and other activities. Don’t forget to dress up in costume as well to win a prize.

You can purchase a minimum of 5 hits at a time for only $5. Hits count as 1 minute sessions where the student will be able to bash a special item. Safety goggles and gloves will be provided and are required during each session. Hits will be worth $1 a piece and all proceeds will be donated to Speed the Light.

Many other free activities will be provided as well as limited free food and a snack bar to purchase items.

We hope your child can join us as we have fun! Registration is required to particiapte in the activities as a parent waiver is involved.

First Wednesday | Prayer & Worship

Prayer Emphasis: Rise As One

 Rise as One!  Capital Christian School has been a mission focus of our church since its beginning in 1977.  One of our blessings today is the reality that over 100 local churches are represented in our student body.  We are getting stronger with each passing year.  Prayer is a vital source of power for our vision for the future.  

I am excited to invite you to join us in prayer and worship on First Wednesday, November 2, at 7pm in the main auditorium of our church. This is the room where our students gather for chapel each week and we want to ask God for His Spirit to fill the hearts and lives of all who connect with Capital Christian School 

We are passionate about our strategy and plans, but we cannot succeed without the Spirit of God building His church and school.  Our God is able to do above and beyond all that we ask, think or imagine (Eph 3:20). We are gathering both church and school families to have a focused prayer for the Rise As One vision campaign. “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31  

We will enter prayer with an open heart, the faith for miracles to happen, and trust that our God will do the work. Your participation will make a difference in this hour of worship and prayer.  

The Café will be open at 6pm and we have a special vendor coming so you can purchase a taco dinner beginning at 5:30pm in the Courtyard.   

Kids activities are available for ages newborn-5th grade with check in taking place in the Activity Center Lobby. Middle and high school students meet at 6:30pm in the Youth Lounge and join for part of the worship service. 

You are a special part of what God is building in this generation.  Thank you for being a part of our Capital Christian School family.
