Sunday, July 2 is Submerged!

The summer weather makes it a perfect opportunity to throw a baptism party outside! Pre-registration is available if you want to make this public display of your decision to follow Jesus. We also provide a spontaneous opportunity for those in the service to respond and get baptized on the spot. We provide shirts, shorts, towels – everything you would need to celebrate new life! Pastor Rick’s message will focus on the importance of baptism and give instructions for the day. Hang out on the front lawn after each service to celebrate those in our church getting baptized- We’ve got Food Trucks and inflatables. Sign up for more info at capitalonline.cc/baptism.

CAPITAL KIDS + STUDENTS PROMOTION WEEK

K-12th Grade | August 6 | 10:30am 

The time is officially here to celebrate the growth of our children this year! On Sunday morning, August 6, all kids and students promote to their new age groups at 10:30am. Capital Kids check is is available in the Activity Center Lobby. Any host can help direct you to a new room if you have any questions.

There are a few room adjustments for those moving up and entering new grades or age categories.

  • Newborn – 2 year olds | Nursery with Mrs. Katrina
  • 3-4 year olds | S10 with Miss Mita
  • K-1 grades | S9 with Mrs. Tina
  • 2-5 grades | Activity Center with Pastor Julian
  • 6-8 grades | A24 with Pastor James
  • 9-12 grades | Auditorium with Pastor Trent

Prayer Emphasis: Transitions

We gather the First Wednesday of every month for a special prayer and worship focus. Gather on Wednesday, July 5, thanking God for His faithfulness and asking for wisdom and guidance for the transition ahead at 7pm in the Chapel. We can go into prayer with an open heart, the faith for miracles to happen, and trust that our God will do the work. If you’re seeking breakthrough and healing, this night is for you!  Kids & Youth activities are available and check in begins at 6:30pm.

FAMILY COMMUNITY NIGHT

Friday, July 28 | 7-9:30PM

Families, our Student Ministry team wants to hang out with you and get introduced to you before our Move up Sunday at Ballpark Cinema. We’ve got a movie out at the Athletic Complex on Friday, July 28, from 7-9:30pm.
We will have inflatables, snow cones, cotton candy and popcorn available.

The movie is a surprise but will be kid-friendly. Plus, you can engage with Pastor Julian from Capital Kids, Pastor James from Middle school, and Pastor Trent from High school. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket and get ready for a fun family night.

No registration is required, it’s a free community event.
