I would like to request a prayer for God to protect my family and myself from harm and illnesses. I pray for good health for my little girls, my husband, myself, my parents, my grandmother, my brother , my sister in law(s)and nephew. I also pray for healthy delivery of my niece beginning of next year. We are Thankful to God for all our blessings, please continue to watch over us. I wanted to thank our church family for praying for our newborn son who has a rare congenital heart defect, hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS.) I wanted to provide an update as well as request ongoing prayer for him.
He was born on 10/17/22, and had his first of three open heart surgeries one week later on 10/24/22. The first surgery was a success and he spent one month in the cardiac ICU while he healed. The doctors and nurses were astounded at how quickly he healed and they told us that it was rare for babies to excel the way he did following that surgery. We owe it all to God!
We have been home for 2 weeks now and we are enjoying the holidays as a family of four.
We are requesting ongoing prayer for him as he will need 2 more open-heart surgeries to fix his heart defect. His next heart surgery is scheduled for 1/24/23. Please continue to pray for supernatural healing, strength, and health for our sweet boy.
This is a very tough road, but God is good and we are trusting in His faithfulness.
