Pastor Rick was back and you could sense the energy in the room. Who’s taking an elevator from here out? (If you don’t know what I’m talking about- watch the message here!) Quick recap:
The Mission of Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:14-21)
1- Jesus was sent by God in the power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 4:18-19)
2- Jesus was sent to proclaim the good news.
3- Jesus was sent to display the good news.
He welcomed children. He heard the cry of a woman who was suffering in her health. He reaches out to broken people in our town every day. He served His followers. He gave up His life to give life to all those who believe.
4- Jesus was sent to form a community of good news.
We are part of God’s “Mission Possible” Force.
