We are hosting a “Tell Me Something Good” gathering on Thursday, September 3, at 7pm at the Football Field. This will be a special opportunity for attendees of Capital to come together and celebrate what God is doing in this season. We have heard your desire to gather, and this will be a fun community event with ice cream! To keep Capital a safe place for its attendees, we will be limiting the amount of guests present to a 100 maximum, and will require registration. Each individual is required to fill out the form to receive a ticket to attend. One form per person. Thank you.
Here’s what you can expect:
– We will be meeting outside.
– Social distancing of at least 6 feet will be required.
– We will be sitting in the bleachers
– Mask-wearing is required upon entrance and exit and anytime social distancing is not available.
– If you are an at-risk individual, or are uncomfortable with attending so soon, please stay at home.
– There will be sanitation stations placed around the facility for your use.
– Pre-package personal ice cream and water bottles will be available at this event for no charge.
– No childcare will be provided at this event.
Will this event be on Facebook live also?
Unfortunately, this event will not be streamed online. We did reschedule it for Thursday, August 27 due to the poor air quality. Feel free to attend in person if that works for you!
Hi is this still going to happen on Thursday 8/27?
We are making a final determination on Wednesday in our staff meeting. The goal is to proceed at this point unless the air quality remains at an unhealthy number. Stay tuned. An email will be sent out to all those who registered to attend.
