SEW MASKS
Medical staff is in desperate need of N95 masks for their personal protection. With the shortage, those who have sewing abilities are being asked to help make masks for health care workers during this season. Here is a video tutorial with instructions on how to make the masks: https://youtu.be/9tBg0Os5FWQ
If you are able to help, please fill out the volunteer link to let us know. We will be delivering the masks to those in need.
GIVE ONLINE
We have several families and extended family members that have been affected tremendously by the loss of jobs and income. Monetary donations are most helpful at this time, and can be made through Capital’s Secure Give options.
I’ve had a request from a social worker of development delayed adults for canned food and toiletries. I’m putting together a couple of bags but they are in need of more. It seems many of the food banks are not operating right now. I can put you in direct contact with her. You can email me at the address below:
or 916-868-2854
I can help outside of work hour plus I have two adult sons who need something to do. They would like to volunteer.
Thanks
Thank you! We will have a member of our response team reach out to you.
My name is Sandra Fernandez and I work for Beaver Food Pantry at American River College. I am emailing to find out how people in need can get free food. I am trying to compile a list of food resources that our students can utilize. Can you please let us know what your operating hours and days are, and what types of food or other resources you all provide?
Thanks
Thanks for checking in on our resources. Currently, due to the unique situation, and the office being closed, we are having people fill out this form online. They are being contacted by a member on our team after the form is filled out. We have a system in place for how we respond to each need. Best way to start is by filling out the form. That puts people on our radar: https://ccc.regfox.com/coronavirus-get-help
Thanks!
