We strive to create an atmosphere of fun and family. We desire for Capital Youth to not only be a point of connection for a community of believers, but also a refuge for all students, regardless of the current stage of their spiritual journey. Students experience connection, worship, challenging messages, group discussion, and fun activities.

August Sunday Night Out at 6:30pm

📍Athletic Complex

In August, we will be switching up the rhythm. We will NOT be meeting in August for our Wednesday night services. Instead, we will be doing hangouts on Sunday nights, August 14 – September 4, from 6:30-8:30pm on campus. In August, our focus will be on building connections with one another and understanding that life changes not only happen in a service but can happen in every aspect of life. During these times, we will provide a short devotional and prayer and conclude the evening with some friendly competition!  For the most up-to-date information, follow us on Instagram: @Capital_Youth916.

September Wednesday Series  at 7pm

📍Youth Lounge/Chapel

On Wednesday, September 7, we will be relaunching our Capital Youth services with a fun outdoor event called Aloha Night. We want you to meet our pastoral and adult leadership team! We encourage everyone to dress up in Hawaiian clothes and be ready for fun games and winning prizes. Dinner and snacks will be served. Don’t miss out as we reset for the new school year and prepare for the amazing things to come!

Invite Nights | September 21

📍Youth Lounge/Chapel

On Wednesday, September 21, we will be hosting our first Invite Night of the school year. Invite Nights are fun monthly events. This is a great night to bring your friends to church and get them connected to Capital Youth.

Volunteering
If your students are interested in volunteering on Sundays, we have multiple opportunities available from media, production, Capital Kids, ushering, and serving other aspects of the church. We want to help develop a culture of volunteerism while creating a sense of ownership of Capital. If interested, fill out the volunteer form at capitalonline.cc/youth.

Jonnie Bansuelo

Middle School Youth Pastor

Hey Friends,
I am Jonnie B. I have been a member of Capital since I was born and I have humbly served as a youth pastor since 2013. Capital has meant a lot to me over the years. I met my beautiful wife, Emily, here and now we are raising our two young sons in this place. We have been blessed to be a part of Capital and my prayer is that you know you belong here.I have a huge heart for middle school ministry. I believe this age group is one of the most crucial ministries in establishing biblical truths about identity and purpose. My hope is to partner with parents as we help develop confident Christ followers.
