The Three Pillars
We have three things that are the foundation for any service, event, or outing that takes place at Capital Kids. No matter what we are doing, beyond the teaching, games, or activities, these three things are the pillars that hold everything together:
SAFETY
Whatever age you child may be, their safety is our first priority. We pay close attention to adult to child ratios, have in-depth training for all our volunteers, and keep strict guidelines on how we handle all interactions with kids of at every level. All of our volunteers have gone through an interview process, and have completed a background check. At every service we have a Capital Kids security team, and utilize a check-in and check-out process to insure that your child is safe.
FUN
We also like to have fun. We believe in teaching scripture, worshiping together, memorizing scripture, and praying together, and the mode we do this in is fun. We like to teach without the kids knowing they’re being taught. We invest a lot of energy on creativity so we can speak to kids on their level. Utilizing the fun moments while allowing kids to open their hearts to the serious moments. We want to see your kid smile.
FULL OF LOVE
Lastly, we believe that when your child leaves, they will be filled with love. Love is at the center of the Gospel, and the center of what we do. We constantly reinforce the scriptures that “God is Love” and that we are to “love God and love people”. We practice this every week, taking time to love on each and every kid.
WEEKLY PROGRAMS

SUNDAY MORNING
9am & 10:30am
We have two Sunday service options every weekend that cover all ages, birth to 5th grade. They take place during our adult weekends service times at 9am and 10:30am. If this will be your child’s first visit to Capital Kids, you can save time by pre-registering your child online. Check in with a host at the guest table when you arrive, and they can walk you to the kids’ rooms.

AGES BIRTH-2
Your infants will experience a time of structured activities designed to cover the basics of human development and fine motor skills. As your child grows, acclimation is introduced to encourage healthy development. You can access the Nursery from the Main Auditorium Lobby and through the AC Hallway next to Volunteer Central.

AGES
3-4
Your toddlers will experience a fun environment designed to teach through song, story time, and crafts. More time is devoted to lesson time and worship to help prepare your young ones as they grow and develop. 3-4 year olds meet in S10 during Sunday services and in the Nursery on Wednesday nights.

GRADES
K-1
Your older children will experience a time of worship and a message designed specifically for their age group. Small-group time provides a unique and immersive learning environment tailored just for your child. Grades K-1 meet in S9 during Sunday services and in the Activity Center on Wednesday nights.

GRADES
2-5
Your older children will experience a time of worship and a message designed specifically for their age group. Small-group time provides a unique and immersive learning environment tailored just for your child. Grades 2-5 meet in the Activity Center during Sunday services and Wednesday nights.
MIDWAY
Wednesday Nights | 7pm
Our Wednesday night service, Midway (for kindergarten through 5th grade), takes a small group approach. We use this time to dig deeper into what we learned on Sunday, utilizing group discussion and question/answer so that your child isn’t just hearing, but is talking out what they have been learning. We also use this time to develop closer and deeper relationships among the students as we talk about God, and spend time in prayer with each other. We do all this while having a lot of fun too! Childcare is open for newborn-4 years old in the Nursery.
