Celebrate Recovery

Every Friday at 7pm in Activity Center

Every Friday evening we celebrate lives being transformed and freed from life-controlling hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Hope and inspiration fill lives through testimonies, teachings and small groups. Real change takes place in step groups by working through the 12-steps in which the healing power of Jesus is prioritized.

Join us every Friday at 6pm for a very reasonably priced dinner, 7pm for our large-group meeting, 8pm for our small, open-share groups, and 9pm for the Solid Rock Café. Childcare is available at $3 per child.

Communion: The Last Sunday of Every Month

Communion is offered on the last Sunday every month during each Sunday service. Communion is a practice that we as Christians observe on a regular basis. During the Last Supper, Jesus took the first communion with his disciples, so that they may remember the sacrifice that he was about to make, which allows us to receive salvation!

And [Jesus] took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’ And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, ‘This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.'” ~ Luke 22:19-20, ESV

9am Service

At Capital, we are excited to welcome you as our guest. We want you to be able to experience the great music, encouraging messages, friendly people and enjoyable atmosphere that are a part of Capital.

We are meeting on campus and online at 9 & 11am.

Our mission has always been to Gather, Grow, and Go, and no matter who you are or where you’re from, there’s a place for you here. During a time of hard change, we’ve made moves to continue to serve you and our communities through it all by adapting to and embracing what comes our way…

Gather on campus or online every week for our Sunday services as well as our Wednesday Prayer and Worship nights. As we have begun to gather again, we recognize that some may not be able to join us at this time. If you fall into a high-risk category know that we are committed to continuing our online experience so you can participate safely from home.

Just a reminder, we do not require adults to register for on campus attendance. Adults need to fill out a one-time Covid-19 release waiver which can be done online here or in person upon arrival.

Growth Track @ Zoom Online
Growth Track is a 4-week experience that includes membership, volunteering, a spiritual gift assessment, leadership training, community, and more.
We are offering this four-week experience on Sunday mornings at 9am in the Guest Lounge beginning May 2.
In the first week, you get to connect to the church as we celebrate our history (Capital is over 100 years old!) and renew our passion to fulfill a God-given vision for the future. You also get to discover your design (week two), develop your leadership (week three), and join the team (week four). Capital is strategic in helping you get connected. This is a great environment to meet people and learn how to make Capital your home.

Grocery Giveaway

Grocery Giveaway

When the COVID-19 crisis hit, Senior Pastor Rick Cole, realized the need would be great for people who would be losing their income and maybe their job.  That is when he set about to do something about it.  “We need to mobilize our church to help meet the needs of our neighborhood and community,” Pastor Cole communicated to his team.  That is when the idea of a grocery drive became a reality.

Every Fourth Sunday, from 12-2pm, Capital Christian Center will be hosting a GROCERY DRIVE THRU.

Church volunteers will be putting together bags of groceries to be handed out, free of charge, until they are all gone.

Prayer Gathering @ Online
Sep 29 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Prayer Gathering @ Online

Prayer is the key to our future. Join us for a fresh approach to prayer and worship every Wednesday at 7pm either in person located in the Auditorium or online across our three streaming platforms.

Our church has a rich prayer history. We were birthed in a prayer meeting in the home of Sacramento attorney William Hatfield. His wife and her friends gathered for prayer in their living room. The prayer meeting grew and a church was born. 104 years later, we can look back on miracles that have brought us this far. It will be prayer and miracles that will take us on from here.

It is time for a fresh prayer movement. It is prayer that changes things.

ATTENDING ON CAMPUS

Registration is not required to attend the prayer gathering in person. The gathering is located in the Main Auditorium. Please park near the EAST entrance (which is opposite of the front fountain). The EAST entrance will be the only Lobby doors open for entrance at the time. Parking under the new solar panels is open!

In order to attend our services on campus, we will require a waiver to be signed by all our attendees. This waiver will be valid for ALL future events at Capital. To sign the waiver, please click the link above. We will also have hard copy waivers available at our prayer gathering.

Our Kids activities will be open shortly on Wednesdays. During the month of February, kids are welcome to attend the prayer gathering with their parents!

ATTENDING ONLINE

Our Sunday services will continue to go live on FacebookYoutube, and our website every week. The prayer live stream will air at 7pm, the same time that the in-person service begins. Pastors are available online to pray with you and provide encouragement throughout the service. If you can’t make the livestream, recordings of the service will be available on demand at any time.
