When the COVID-19 crisis hit, Senior Pastor Rick Cole, realized the need would be great for people who would be losing their income and maybe their job.  That is when he set about to do something about it.  “We need to mobilize our church to help meet the needs of our neighborhood and community,” Pastor Cole communicated to his team.  That is when the idea of a grocery drive became a reality.

On SATURDAY, JUNE 27 from 10am to 12 noon, Capital Christian Center will be hosting a GROCERY DRIVE THRU.

Church volunteers will be putting together:

·     Over 500 bags of groceries

·     Free of charge

·     Bags will be handed out until they are all gone

On June 27th, from 10am to 12pm, Capital Christian Center will extend its example of loving the local community. Pastor Cole expanded, “Capital Christian Center has partnered with Convoy of Hope and their effort to feed 10 million meals nationwide. We love our neighbors and our community and are excited to help.”

This week, a fully loaded Peterbilt truck with a 40’ trailer dropped off over 35,000 lbs. of food and supplies. On June 27th, Capital Christian Center- 9470 Micron Ave. Sacramento, CA 95827- will be providing over 500 bags of meals.
